Day 115 – 366 Things to discover in the Southern Highlands

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN East Rim Wildflower

Today we would like to introduce you to another wonderful walking track that can be enjoyed in the Southern Highlands. And as it is quite brisk out, we strongly recommend you take your jackets and beanies to keep you warm while you enjoy the beautiful landscape that surround us.

Starting at the Morton National Park Visitor Centre, you will find a 2 hour walk that is an absolute must if you are interested in native trees and plants. With many helpful and informative signs showcasing the interesting flora, changing environments and other intriguing facts, you will discover all manner of new and surprising insights along the way.

There are numerous lookouts where you will find yourself swept away by views over the valley below the escarpment. Definitely worth a look!

If you have discovered an interesting walking track in the Southern Highlands (and we haven’t mentioned it yet!) – be sure to let us know by posting here or on our facebook page. We’d certainly like to hear about what you have found!
